High-Speed Chase in Wyoming Ends With Dramatic Arrest
A female is facing multiple charges following a high-speed chase on Interstate 25 in southeast Wyoming.
Speeding Leads to High-Speed Chase
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, it all started Friday afternoon, Jan. 2, after troopers clocked the female, who was behind the wheel of a black Ford F-150, driving 93 mph in an 80-mph zone and attempted to stop her at milepost 85 on I-25, about five miles north of Wheatland.

"The truck slowed down to about 20 mph as the trooper gave orders to pull over, but then took off northbound on I-25," the agency said in a Facebook post.
Spike Strips, TVI Used to End High-Speed Chase
"Speeds reached 97 mph before the truck hit spike strips laid by troopers in Converse County," the post reads. "The truck continued to flee before hitting more spikes set by Converse County Sheriff's Office."
A trooper driving a Dodge Durango then reportedly conducted a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI) at milepost 124, about two miles south of Orin Junction, bringing the chase to a safe conclusion.
"The female driver was arrested and cited for DUI, speeding, careless driving, and fleeing/eluding," the post reads. "This investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending."
