NWS Cheyenne: Highs in the 50s and Even 60s Possible Next Week
Remember those miserably cold temperatures we endured earlier this month? Well luckily, a big warm-up is on the way.
According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, a weak storm system will bring a brief cool down and scattered snow to the valleys on Thursday into Friday, but then temperatures will start to heat up.
"Expect a significant warm up to begin Saturday and continue through the middle of next week," the agency in a statement Wednesday afternoon said.
The NWS says areas along and east of Interstate 25, including Cheyenne which normally sees highs around 39 to 40 degrees this time of year, could see highs in the 50s and even the 60s.
