Special Weather Statement Issued For Cheyenne, Bitter Cold In SE Wyoming
Southeast Wyoming can expect another round of snow showers today and Tuesday, with single digit low temperatures.
Cheyenne is under a Winter Weather Advisory, while Laramie is slightly outside of the advisory area. A Special Weather Statement has been issued for Cheyenne.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on its website: ''A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of Laramie County including Cheyenne and the I-80 Summit from Monday to Tuesday. 2-4 inches of snow are possible with locally higher amounts near the I-80 Summit.''
