Cooler, Wetter Weather Headed For Cheyenne, Laramie
While it may not be as much precipitation as southeast Wyoming residents might hope fore, it does look like Cheyenne and Laramie can expect some rain and/or snow over the next 36 hours.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on it's website:
A disorganized storm system will move through the area on Tuesday. Expect rain and snow showers to move into Carbon and Albany counties after midnight, with a few light rain showers spreading into the High Plains Tuesday morning. Snow could produce slick spots for the Tuesday AM commute above 6500 ft in elevation (including Laramie and Rawlins), with 2 to 6 inches of accumulation possible above 9000 ft in elevation. Showers will spread east of I-25 Tuesday afternoon and evening. While not everyone will see rainfall, localized areas will have a chance to see some beneficial moisture. A few rumbles of thunder are also possible during this time.
