The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is now forecasting an active weather pattern next week, with snow possibly impacting Thanksgiving travel in Wyoming, Colorado and the Nebraska Panhandle.

The agency posted the following on it's website:

Heads up for next week as active weather certainly looks possible across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. Strong winds are possible Saturday night through Sunday. A cold front then moves into the area Monday, bringing snow to areas west of the Laramie Range. Travel could be significantly impacted Monday and Tuesday. Front drops south into Colorado Tuesday, but then waves north on Wednesday for more widespread snow and travel impacts. Stay tuned to later updates in the forecast.
