Most of Wyoming is expecting rain and/or snow with a strong cold front on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

What had been posted as Winter Weather Advisories have now been upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings in some areas.

The agency posted the following on its website:

Winter Weather Advisories have been upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings for Converse County, North Snowy Range, and the Shirley Mountains. In addition, added central Carbon County into the Winter Weather Advisories with increased snowfall possible.

Here's your forecast for southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle for Tuesday and Tuesday night. A cold front will move through the area, creating increased chances for rain ahead, and a rain/snow mix behind the front as it moves through. High temperatures will be early Tuesday and are expected to fall as the front passes through. Snow Tuesday night expected for most of southeast Wyoming with a rain/snow mix in the Panhandle. Check road conditions at WYDOT's webpage (https://wyoroad.info/) if traveling Tuesday afternoon and evening, as there could be some road impacts with the snow.
