The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving a missing person case involving a 41-year-old man who was last seen in Loveland almost a year ago.

That's according to a post on the Larimer County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. According to the post, Jance Wesly Varela was known to be staying in Loveland in June of 2022 when he was last seen. His family reported him missing in July of 2022 when/Larimer County Sheriff's Office

they were not able to contact him. The post says interviews with Verela's friends and following up on tips they received have not given them they information needed to find him so far. Information turned up in the investigation into his disappearance has led to concerns bout his well-being, however. According to the post:

"Jance is 6’4 tall, 140 pounds, with gray/brown hair and brown eyes. He may have facial hair and has a tattoo of the pi symbol on his left hand. Photos are attached courtesy of family.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Tyler Thomas at (970) 498-5167. People can also contact Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868 or www.stopcriminals.org. A cash reward is available for tips that lead to the resolution of this case."
