Miles of I-80 in Southeast Wyoming Closed Due to Weather, Crashes
More than 50 miles of Interstate 80 in southeast Wyoming have been closed due to winter conditions and crashes.
As of 7:46 p.m., the Wyoming Department of Transportation estimated it would take crews six to eight hours to get the 43-mile stretch between Laramie (Exit 316) and Interstate 25 in Cheyenne (Exit 359) back open.
And as of 8 p.m., the estimated opening time for the 11-mile stretch between I-25 and Archer (Exit 370) is in six to eight hours.

A black ice advisory is also in effect on I-25 between Cheyenne and Whitaker Road (Exit 29).
