According to a fatality crash summary, 44-year-old Brandy McKinney was behind the wheel of a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe when McKinney crossed an icy bridge deck and lost control of the SUV, causing it to trip and roll at least twice.

McKinney was not wearing a seat belt and died from their injuries.

The Patrol says the interstate was generally wet at the time of the crash, but some of the bridge decks were icy.
