Pickup Hits Delineator Post, Rolls Multiple Times

According to a fatality crash summary, a Ford F-150 was headed west in the left lane when the pickup drifted across the right lane and onto the right shoulder, went across the rumble strip, and hit a delineator post.

The driver then reportedly overcorrected back to the left, and the pickup began to assume a passenger-side leading slide as it crossed both lanes.

"Evidence indicates that the vehicle spun at some point during this action and ran partially off the roadway on the median side," the summary reads. "It slid sideways perpendicular to the roadway, tripped, and rolled multiple times to the driver's side."

Driver Injured, Passenger Killed

The crash left the driver injured but, despite being buckled up, their passenger, 56-year-old Idaho resident Rocco Dorazio, didn't survive.

The summary doesn't list any possible contributing factors.

This is the 104th reported fatality on Wyoming's highways this year.
