Coloradan Dead After Rolling SUV on Icy I-25 South of Cheyenne
A 51-year-old Colorado man is dead after rolling his Jeep on Interstate 25 south of Cheyenne, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
The crash happened around 6:43 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, at milepost 4, near the Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center.

According to a fatality crash summary, Donald Campbell was behind the wheel of a northbound Jeep Liberty when he lost control on an icy bridge deck, causing the Jeep to spin off the right side of the interstate and roll several times.
Campbell was not wearing his seat belt and died from his injuries.
Speed a Possible Factor
The summary lists speed as a possible contributing factor.
Campbell is the 27th reported person to die on Wyoming's highways this year and the second driver to die in a crash on I-25 in Laramie County in the past week.
