A 78-year-old Wyoming woman is dead following a T-bone crash north of Cheyenne, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.

The crash happened around 10:39 a.m. on Monday, July 7, at the intersection of Iron Mountain Road and Yellowstone Road.

According to a fatality crash summary, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was southbound on Yellowstone Road when the driver of a westbound Ford Explorer entered the intersection, as the driver didn't see the Jeep.

"The Jeep collided with the passenger side door of the Ford," the summary reads.

Sadly, the passenger, Linda Brown, did not survive her injuries.

Both drivers were also reportedly injured in the crash, but the Patrol did not say to what extent.

Brown is the 56th reported person to die on Wyoming's highways this year. Of those fatalities, seven died in crashes in Laramie County.
