Originally from Houston, Reyna had been assigned to F.E. Warren since November 2019.

"Losing a friend, a coworker, and a wingman is never easy. We are all hurting today with Luis’ passing, and we give our deepest sympathies to his family and friends," said 90th Contracting Squadron Commander Maj. Charles Ogonowski.

"We are grateful for the support from across the wing during this difficult time," Ogonowski added.

Reyna is the second F.E. Warren airman to die this month.

It was just 12 days ago, Sept. 16, that Trinity Reinhart of Eugene, Oregon, was killed in a Humvee crash near Grover, Colorado.
