UPDATE: Cheyenne Teen Charged With Felonies Released on Bond
A Cheyenne teen charged with felony property destruction and conspiracy is out of jail after posting bail.
Wanted Cheyenne Teen Arrested at School
According to a booking sheet, a police officer was called to Triumph High School at 1250 W. College Dr. around 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, for a wanted person.

The officer says they were informed by another officer of a student, 19-year-old Joseph Lucas, having an active felony warrant out of Laramie County.
The warrant was for felony property destruction and conspiracy to commit felony property destruction, both of which are punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
The officer says Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on Jan. 8, 2025, with no bond.
Lucas was arrested and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue.
Lucas Gets $1.5K Cash-Only Bond
Lucas made his initial appearance in Circuit Court on Monday, Jan. 13, during which he was given a $1,500 cash-only bond and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
He posted bond following court.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
CORRECTION:
Tuesday's story on Joseph Lucas mistakenly reported that he was given a $15,000 cash-only bond. The story should have read $1,500 and has been corrected. KGAB regrets the error.
