Cheyenne Police Warn of Scam Targeting CFD Food Truck Vendors
The Cheyenne Police Department is warning food truck vendors about an email scam involving fake Cheyenne Frontier Days permits.
According to a department Facebook post, someone claiming to be Michael Francis with Fun Biz Concessions, CFD’s official food concessionaire, is emailing food truck vendors across the state.

Fraudulent Permit Application
"The email contains a fraudulent permit application and a request for payment via Venmo or PayPal," the post reads. "This individual is not affiliated with CFD or Fun Biz Concessions."
Police are asking anyone who receives an email from this scammer or who sees anything suspicious to call police dispatch at 307-637-6525.
"Remember to always verify companies and workers before entering into an agreement or making a payment," the post reads. "Help spread the word to protect food truck vendors from this scam."
