Cheyenne Man Charged With Aggravated Assault
A domestic violence suspect who was reportedly caught trespassing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base could be looking at up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Andrew Greg Wiggen, 33, of Cheyenne, made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Wednesday morning on charges of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor domestic battery.
His bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.
According to a booking sheet, police were dispatched to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center at 3:36 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a wanted person and contacted Wiggen, a suspect in a physical domestic from Monday who had an affidavit of probable cause for his arrest.
Police say Wiggen was detained by Security Forces at F.E. Warren, where he had scaled a fence and was trespassing, and was identified by Laramie County Sheriff's deputies and taken to CRMC.
When Wiggen arrived at the hospital he was placed under arrest and mirandized, but refused to make any statements.
