The arresting Laramie County Sheriff's deputy say B.S. was uncooperative.

B.S. was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center for misdemeanor domestic battery, a crime punishable by up to six months in jail, up to a $750 fine, or both.

Probation Violation

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, inmate B.S. was served with a warrant out of Laramie County District Court for probation violation on an original charge of felony child abuse.

5 Felonies, 50 Years to Life

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, B.S. was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on seven charges, including five felonies — first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, which carries a penalty of 25 to 50 years in prison; two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison; kidnapping, which carries a penalty of 20 years to life in prison; and aggravated blackmail, which carries a penalty of five to 25 years in prison.

B.S. was also seen on the misdemeanor domestic battery charge he was booked on as well as a misdemeanor interference with a peace officer charge stemming from his Nov. 8 arrest, a crime punishable by up to one year in jail, up to a $1,000 fine, or both.

With the exception of the interference charge, all of the charges are alleged to have occurred on or about Friday, Nov. 7.

Williams appointed B.S. a public defender and set his preliminary hearing for Monday, Nov. 24, at 11:30 a.m.

Williams then asked for the state's position regarding bond.

"The probable cause remarks are extremely concerning," the state said. "I'd also note that there's a conviction for child abuse from last year for this individual."

"The sheer volume of the crimes, the violent nature of those crimes, and the penalties associated, I think it perhaps would be appropriate to hold B.S. without bond until this could be further reviewed at a preliminary hearing," the state added.

Bond Set at $500K Cash

"At this time, the court is going to set your bond at $500,000 cash only," Williams told B.S.

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
