The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are set to return to the skies above Francis E. Warren Air Force Base on Saturday, July 26, as they headline the Wings Over Wyoming Air Show.

The free show starts at 10:30 a.m., but those planning to catch the action from on base will want to get in line early, as access will be limited.

Base parking opens at 6:30 a.m. and can be accessed via Roundtop Road.

Directions

  • From I-25: Use exit 16, turn west onto Horse Creek Rd. In approx. 3 miles turn south onto Roundtop Rd. In approx. 2 miles the entrance is on the left.
  • From I-80: Use exit 357, turn north onto Roundtop Rd., and in approx. 5 miles the entrance is on the right.
  • From WY-210W/Happy Jack Rd: Turn north onto Roundtop Rd. In approx. 4 miles the entrance is on the right.

Important Notes

  • Parking and viewing will be in an open grass/dirt field.
  • Emergency services and medical support will be standing by for assistance.
  • Visitors are asked to remain throughout the duration of the show.
  • RVs, motorhomes, trailers, and buses will not be allowed into the air show parking.

It should also be noted that vehicles entering the base and hand carried items are subject to search at any time.
