According to a press release, Aragon was a security forces specialist assigned to the 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron, 90th Missile Wing.
He joined the Air Force on April 19, 2022, and was assigned to F.E. Warren on Oct. 19, 2022.

'Heartbreaking Loss'
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Senior Airman Aragon," said 90th Missile Wing Commander Col. Terrance "Terry" Holmes.
"He was a valued member of our defender team, and his passing leaves a tremendous void," Holmes added. "Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fellow airmen as we grieve this heartbreaking loss."
The accused, 20-year-old Airman 1st Class Jadan Orr, assigned to the 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, 90th Missile Wing, was arrested following the shooting and subsequently charged with involuntary manslaughter, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
He's currently being held in the Laramie County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond awaiting an Aug. 25 preliminary hearing.

According to police, Orr and several friends had been drinking alcohol at an apartment at Sundance Apartments at 215 Walterscheid Blvd. for most of the night when, at about 3:30 a.m., Orr went into a bedroom with two friends.
Police say at some point, Orr picked up an AK-47 and while manipulating it, charged it and fired it through the wall into the living room, striking Aragon in the torso.
Police arrived to find several people in front of the apartment building attempting to render medical aid to Aragon, who died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by police, and the base says it's fully cooperating with their efforts.
"Out of respect for the ongoing investigation and those affected, no further information will be released at this time," the press release reads.
This is the second shooting death in a month involving F.E. Warren airmen.
