Speed, Possible Medical Condition May Be to Blame for Fatal Motorcycle Crash

According to a fatality crash summary, 66-year-old Carl Gilman was riding west when he went off the right side of the road, down the embankment, and along the right-of-way fence.

Gilman's Harley-Davidson eventually tripped, rolled, and went airborne over the fence, and he was thrown from his bike.

Gilman was not wearing a helmet and died from his injuries.

The summary lists speed and a possible medical condition as possible contributing factors.

Gilman is the 17th reported person to die on Wyoming's highways so far this year.
