Roedy Farrell from Thermopolis has made a name for himself in wrestling with three State Championships in 2A. Now Farrell is switching to his real passion and that's rodeo. He qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo in the bareback for the 4th time and he certainly has high hopes. The High School Nationals will begin on Sunday in Gillette

Farrell also has been competing in the pro rodeo circuit and turned in an 82-point effort at the Central Wyoming event in Casper on Wednesday night. He's already won a few bucks at the Thermopolis rodeo and has a family lineage in rodeo with his father Will a previous contestant in bull riding.

Farrell liked his effort on Wednesday at the PRCA event in Casper and now is setting his sights on the big High School Nationals.
