PhotoFest: Natrona-Laramie Wrestling
The wrestling season has just begun and Laramie paid a visit to Casper to take on Natrona in 4A boy's and girl's action on Tuesday night. Natrona won the boys' dual 55-14 recording 5 pins. Tristan Tromble at 120 recorded one of the falls for NC and he placed 2nd at 106 pounds at last year's State Tournament, Jay Trujillo at 132, and Jameson Siemen at 150 came up with pins as well as Tucker Sides at 190 and Noah Sides at 215. Tucker was 3rd at 170 pounds in the 2023 State Tournament while Noah was 2nd at 195.
Laramie received a big win from Dakota Ledford at 157 who placed 4th at 145 pounds at State last year as the Plainsmen got a narrow 5-4 win from Liam Knerr at 126 with that winning margin coming in the final seconds.
On the girl's side, Natrona won that dual over Laramie 45-18. Addie Bauer, Caydence Watters, and Kallie Bauer posted wins for Natrona with McKenna Barham getting the lone victory for Laramie.
