The Burlington Huskies have been a solid program in boys' basketball with 4 state championships from 2014-2017. Upton has been on a roll as well winning the last two 1A titles but as it turned out, Burlington played a solid all-around game to win the tile 54-35 on Saturday in Casper.

Burlington attacked the back-boards with vigor as they out-rebounded Upton 39-25 and 15-8 on the offensive glass. The Huskies also had a sharp game shooting the ball, going 48% from the field in the 2nd half and 43% for the game. They were led in scoring by Carson Jones with 17 and Noah McMakin added 13.

Upton had some offensive difficulty in the 2nd half at just 21% from the floor on 5-23 from the field. The Bobcats were 4-20 from the free throw line and received 13 points from Ethan Schiller and 6 points from Kailer Duarte. Upton finishes the season with a mark of 19-5 while Burlington finished at 26-3
