PhotoFest! Gillette Early Bird Basketball Tournament
The basketball season tipped off over the weekend with several tournaments around the State with the Gillette Early Bird event among them. There were some talented teams in this deal and on the boy's side, Campbell County went 3-0, Cody 2-1 with Buffalo, Worland, and Thunder Basin going 1-2. Torrington and Rock Springs went 0-3 over the weekend.
On the girl's side, Campbell County went 3 for 3 and Buffalo did as well. Cody won 2 out of 3 with Worland and Thunder Basin losing 2 out of 3. Torrington and Rock Springs went 0-3. This was a good gauge-of-ability event more than anything else and there's a long way to go in the season.
