The 2024 high school football season is ten days away. The Laramie Plainsmen continue their preparation under first-year head coach Jake Chick. Fall Camp is also winding down, as the last two-a-day practices are today. Laramie will go to one practice at its after-school time slot starting on Wednesday due to schedules for teachers returning to the classroom ahead of the new school year.

KOWB's David Settle stopped by after practice on Monday to get an update on how things are going with the team. We visited with seniors Evan Crum and Will Brinegar, and coach Chick.

Laramie's first game is at Cheyenne East on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. The first home game is not until Friday, Sept. 13. LHS has four home games and five road games this year.

KOWB Radio will broadcast all of them. You can listen on the radio at A-M 1290, online, through the KOWB app, and even through smart speakers. David Settle and Aaron Lozano will call the games.
