RANKED: Top 25 High Schools in Wyoming – Did Yours Make the List?

Summer is over and school is now in session for Wyoming students across the state. We will show you the top ranked high schools in the Cowboy State.

Each year, USNEWS compiles a list of the best best high schools in the entire country. These statistics can also be broken down by state. The list for Wyoming is now available and we are showcasing the top 25.

The methodology for ranking the best schools in Wyoming are based on the following categories:

• College Readiness 30%
  This is the number of seniors who earned a qualifying score on at least one Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exam.
• State Assessment Proficiency 20%
• State Assessment Performance 20%
• Underserved Student Performance 10%
  Scores on state assessments among students who are Black, Hispanic, and from low-income households.
• College Curriculum Breadth 10%
  The number of seniors who took and earned a qualifying score on AP and IB exams in multiple areas.
• Graduation Rate 10%

These rankings are, of course, based on data that is made available by the school districts and the state assessments. These rankings only include public schools.
