Wyoming Golf Begins '23 Campaign Wednesday at Ram Masters

LARAMIE -- The University of Wyoming Men’s Golf Team will get the 2023-24 season started on Wednesday morning in Fort Collins, Colo., at the 2023 Ram Masters Invitational at the Fort Collins Country Club.

The first of five fall tournaments for the Cowboys, the Ram Masters was first played starting in 2012. Wyoming has enjoyed great success at the Ram Masters in past seasons, including having two individual tournament champions -- Drew McCullough in 2014 and Dan Starzinski in 2018

Last Year in Fort Collins
Patrick Azevedo and Jared Calkins earned a pair of top-five finishes at the 2022 Ram Masters Invitational to lead the Pokes to a fourth-place finish in the 15-team field. Azevedo fired a final round 65 (-5) to move up 11 spots and earn a tie for second place as an individual.

Tournament Field

•The Ram Masters Invitational will feature 13 collegiate teams from across the country

•The 13 teams in this year's field are: Colorado State, Cal State Fullerton, Creighton, Idaho, Kansas City, Long Beach State, Morehead State, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, Wyoming and Xavier. Colorado will have student-athletes in the field playing as individuals.

•The Pokes will be paired with Colorado State on holes one and two, and on holes 16 and 17 with Tarleton State for the shotgun start on Wednesday.
