San Diego State, which fell to the Lobos 68-61 in Saturday's championship game, snagged the conference's highest seed, landing No. 5 in the East Region after capping a 24-10 regular season campaign. The Aztecs are coming off a miracle run to last April's national championship game where they eventually lost to UConn.

The Mountain West's regular season champ, Utah State, will be an eighth seed while Nevada sits at 10 and New Mexico at 11.

Boise State and Colorado State are in Dayton to take part in the First Four, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday.
