LARAMIE -- The Wyoming Cowboys hit the road heading to the Golden State for a matchup with San Jose State on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. MT in the Provident Credit Union Event Center in San Jose, Calif.

It is the first game of a two-game road swing for the Brown and Gold.

The contest will be televised on NBC Sports Bay Area, but will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com.. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelly will be on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.

About The Teams

Wyoming heads into the contest with a 12-12 overall record and a 5-6 mark in conference play after falling at home to Utah State by a score of 84-76, as USU was the MW leader and receiving votes in both polls. The Pokes are shooting 37.4 percent from behind the arc to lead the MW and rank No. 25 in the nation. UW hit nine threes against Utah State. The Cowboys are grabbing 35.0 rebounds per game and average 36.2 in conference pay to rank third in the conference, as UW ranks first in conference play with 26.6 defensive rebounds per night.

The Spartans are 9-16 overall and 2-10 in the MW after defeating Air force at home by a score of 73-66 on Tuesday. The Spartans average 71.8 points per game and are allowing 74.2 points per night. SJSU is shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from behind the arc. The Spartans take care of the basketball with 10.5 turnovers per game for fourth in the conference this season.

Tibet Gorener adds 12.5 points per game with Trey Anderson adding 11.4 per night.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series with the Spartans 21-3 in a series that dates back to 1965. The Pokes took the first meeting this season on a buzzer beater by a score of 75-73 coming back from 17 points down. Oleg Kojenets had 18 points in the first contest this season. The Pokes are 8-3 all-time at San Jose State.
