OMG! In-N-Out Will Be An Hour Away From Cheyenne & Laramie Soon
I can't tell you how many times my father-in-law has dreamed of an In-N-Out coming to Cheyenne. My husband's family lived in California for a time (don't worry, they've settled into the Wyoming lifestyle just fine), and the legendary burger chain is HUGE in the Golden State.
Well, here's some good news for my FIL...and anyone else who loves Animal Fries -
IN-N-Out is coming to Loveland.
Okay, I know, it's not Cheyenne or Laramie. But it's a much shorter drive than Aurora or Colorado Springs. We're talking an hour...maybe an hour and a half tops to drive there. Here's what we know so far:
In-N-Out Heads to Loveland
In January, the company filed with the City of Loveland to build its first NOCO chain near the Centerra Marketplace and Cracker Barrel. The restaurant will replace the former Mimi's Cafe.
9 News reports that the building was purchased for $1.3 Million in February. However, an opening date has not been announced. Assistant Vice President for Real Estate and Development Mike Abbate told 9NEWS, "Once we break ground on a new location, it usually takes us 8-9 months to build a restaurant and open it for business."
Will In-N-Out Come to Cheyenne?
Lord, I hope so. But for now, there's no news on In-N-Out expanding to Cheyenne. However, the company has continued to expand gradually northward since 2020, when the Aurora and Colorado Springs sites opened. The restaurants were so popular, they caused traffic jams, and 14-hour lines (no, seriously) as droves of people waited for their burger fix. If I were to hazard a guess, Fort Collins would be next...and then maybe, hopefully, Cheyenne?
If you visit one of Colorado's In-N-Outs anytime soon, make sure to grab an order of Animal Fries. According to my FIL, they are the perfect blend of fries, caramelized onions, cheese, and signature sauce...my mouth is watering - isn't it?
