Josh Allen Made the Best Throw of His Career on Monday [VIDEO]
We’re just four days away from the Buffalo Bills’ first preseason game of 2023. It will also be the team’s only home game of the preseason.
Saturday at 1 pm against the Indianapolis Colts from Highmark Stadium.
We don’t know yet how much, if at all, the starters will play. That we should know by Wednesday or Thursday.
Typically, teams like to have their starters play at least a full quarter or a full half in one of the three games. That might be this weekend for Buffalo.
Josh Allen is having a good camp and on Monday, he had what could very well be the best throw he’s ever made in a game or practice setting.
Allen’s throw to new Bills wide receiver Trent Sherfield is going viral. Allen threw the ball about 30 yards to the fall left side of the end zone, where it squeezed perfectly between multiple Bills defenders. The pass hit Sherfield in stride and my goodness it’s a thing of beauty.
Allen’s throws against the Kansas City Chiefs are near the top of the list, particularly the 75-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis in the AFC Divisional round in January of 2022.
However, this throw is without a doubt in the conversation. The only other quarterback capable of making that throw is probably Patrick Mahomes. That’s an insane throw to make for any NFL QB and Allen is making the asinine plays look normal at this point.
We should never get numb to these plays, they’re all special.
