The intersection of 15th Street and Ivinson Avenue, which has been closed for several months, is slated to reopen on Friday, Aug. 16 for the University of Wyoming move-in day.

That's according to a post on the University of Wyoming website.  According to the post, the intersection has been closed since March 7 for the "installation of deep utility infrastructure for UW’s housing project and construction of a new roundabout that has transformed the intersection near the heart of campus."

Move-In Day To Proceed As Usual

The post says move-in day will move ahead as usual, with 30-minute parking available at the various residence halls. You can see a move-in day map here.

Fall semester classes at UW start on August 26.

The post says 15th Street is currently closed from Ivinson Ave. to Willett Drive. But the street is expected to be open from Ivinson to Fraternity/Sorority row around the third week of September.

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
