As of 9 a.m. On Saturday, April 14, the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed from Cheyenne to the Nebraska state line, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Westbound I-80 over that same stretch of the highway remained open, although slick conditions and blowing and drifting snow were reported.

The Closure of the eastbound lanes was due to severe weather conditions in Nebraska, with WYDOT estimating the closure time to last somewhere between six and 10 hours. I-25 remained open throughout it's Wyoming route, according to WYDOT.
