=================================================================

Winter weather and a crash Sunday morning forced the closure of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Rawlins.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation estimates the road will reopen sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

US 30/287 between Rock River and WY 34 is also closed due to winter conditions. WYDOT also expects that stretch of highway to reopen sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Strong winds are a factor on many area highways, and WYDOT advises no light trailers on much of I-80 and US 287 from Laramie to the Colorado state line.
