Gun Recovered After Burglary at Cheyenne Home, More Still Missing
Cheyenne police say they've recovered a gun that was stolen during a home burglary last month, but others are still missing.
Public Information Officer Alex Farkas says four guns were stolen from a residence in the area of E. 12th Street on or about the night of Jan. 18.
Farkas says officers are asking for the public's help in finding the three remaining guns, described as follows:
- Savage Stevens pump-action 12-gauge shotgun with a black synthetic stock
- Remington model 597 .22LR semi-automatic rifle with a wooden stock featuring the logo of the National Rifle Association
- Savage Edge 30-06 bolt-action rifle featuring a synthetic stock and a holographic red-dot sight
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
