It's peak season for Japanese Beetles on the front range and officials say they're impossible to remove.

Victims of the Japanese Beetle are rose gardens, grape vines, and fruit trees. Laura Pottorff of the Colorado Department of Agriculture's Plant Health and Certification Section told The Denver Channel that eradication is "not possible."

Pottorff told The Denver Channel that one way to manage the pests is to go out at night and shake the plant. She said to put a bucket of soapy water under the plant so the bugs fall into it.
