Fall Family Events in Laramie…Plus Pumpkins
Before trick-or-treat season begins in earnest, Laramie offers a few fall-esque activities before the big weekend of costumes and candy, and some opportunities to get a pumpkin.
Annual Pumpkin Walk
The annual games, candy, and pick a pumpkin to take home event is next weekend at the Wyoming Territorial Prison.
When: Saturday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site
Cost: $5 adults/17 & under free

Pumpkin Painting Workshop
The Nest is offering pumpkin painting again. Pick a pumpkin, decorate it, and let the kids have some play time afterward.
When: Friday & Saturday, Oct. 13 & 14 at 10 a.m. both days
Where: Laramie Plains Civic Center Conference Room
Cost: $20/pumpkin

Interactive Family Fun Fair
A fall carnival with all the fixings: animal bingo, beanbags, and balloon animals, with bonuses like horsehair braiding and wool-ball making.
When: Saturday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Black Fox on Welsh; 1000 Welsh Lane
Cost: $10/kids; $15/adults. Includes prize bags & snack bags for kids.

Fall Fest at the Albany County Fairgrounds
Games, activities, crafts, and vendors for all of your fall fun and decor. Proceeds benefit Southeast Wyoming Foster Closets.
When: Saturday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Hay Days Festival at the Vee Bar
Live music, games, food, and a pumpkin patch to pick the perfect jack-o-lantern.
