Additional Information

This week at Studio WYO, we’re bringing local acoustic-rock band Moral Panic to the stage, and a featured guest performance by instrumental guitarist Doug Wood.

Doug Wood is opening the evening, and brings a unique guitar playing style that is inspired by a wide variety of artists. He’s known for his rhythmic beats and fingerstyle techniques that diversify every set he plays. With several rotations on NPR and WPR and hundreds of college shows under his belt, we’re excited to bring an experienced and passionate artist to the stage. For more information about Doug Wood’s music, visit his website at www.dougwoodmusic.com.

Headlining the evening is the Americana-rock band Moral Panic, a rambunctious group of seasoned musicians. The local 5-piece is much beloved in Laramie, though they draw a crowd across the state and are veterans of WhatFest. With elements of guitar, fiddle, double bass, drums, and even a washboard, the folks in Moral Panic always bring an upbeat, diverse, and entertaining performance. Studio WYO is very excited to welcome them back to the stage.

StudioWYO is a student-run program sponsored by Associated Students Technical Services (ASTEC).
