Local Artists Invited to Submit Artwork for Skatepark File Folder

April, 26 2019 — Laramie Public Art Coalition (LPAC), Relative Theatrics and Friends of Laramie Skatepark are working in partnership to seek one artist or artist team, to paint a mural on the File Folder near the Skatepark in LaBonte Park. LPAC and its partners are working with to identify an artist who would create a new mural to renew and transform the File Folder in response to the Skatepark Stage event by Relative Theatrics on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The artwork will be created live during a theatrical reading of a scene of a play on the above date.

Albany County artists or an artist team that would like to be considered for this opportunity should submit images of previously completed work to LPACsubmissions@gmail.com by 11:59 p.m. on May 9. A selection committee of community members and artists will review the work and interview finalists. Final selection of the artist/artist team will be announced by May 28.
