Additional Information

Cowgirl Yarn is hosting an open fiber arts night in partnership with Laramie Pridefest on Wednesday, June 26th at 5pm! We encourage all individuals from the LGBTQ+ community to come out and show off their fiber art. There is seating in the front of the store as well as space in the Fernwood Studio to sit, talk, meet new people, and share your fiber art projects. This free event is inclusive of knitting, crocheting, sewing, felting, spinning, embroidering, weaving, and anything in between. Yarns that reflect all color preferences will be available in case you need supplies for a last minute Pride project but most importantly, this is an opportunity to meet new friends in the LGBTQ+ community. Please note that this is a low-sensory event and alcohol will not be provided.

Laramie PrideFest’s mission is to use an intersectional framework to plan and host a series of community events that create a safe environment for all in order to celebrate, honor, and support Wyoming's LGBTQ community while centering the legacy of where Pride began, the 1969 Stonewall Riots.
