Additional Information
If you have a common last name, researching your ancestors can be a daunting task. “Smith, Anderson and Jones: Researching Common Names”, presented by Carol Stetser, is the program at the June meeting of the Albany County Genealogical Society (ACGS), June 11 at 7 pm. Carol will focus on techniques such as making profiles, focusing on locations and revisiting found records. She is a former teacher whose love for genealogy is an outgrowth of her background in English and history, and she is a popular speaker who served in various capacities for several Colorado genealogical societies.
