Employee Spit On Over Mask Policy at a Colorado Ice Cream Shop
Imagine taking your family out for ice cream in 2020. You know, the year of the COVID-19 pandemic. You've been stowed away in your house for months, you and your children are going stir crazy. Maybe you've lost your job because of the virus. You figure that your family has been through a lot lately and they deserve something special. So you all jump in the car with your masks and hand sanitizer ready to go. This is going to be a great time as you all need a little pick me up. Imagine standing in line with your family and these types of events unfold right in front of your family.
Some people are so mad that they have to wear a mask in public, that they spit at the employee that is working at the ice cream shop and another coughs all over the counter and at other guests who are trying to get ice cream. This isn't imaginary, this type of stuff has happened at a Colorado ice cream shop in Denver called Little Man Ice Cream.
Paul Tamburello recounts some of the incidents that have taken place in a Facebook post and how these incidents have made his heart hurt because of them.
Look, I get it. Wearing a mask sucks. It's uncomfortable and I hate it too. But you don't have to be a raging, mean person to everyone you encounter because you don't want to wear a mask. Coughing on things and at people, spitting, it's just plain rude. If you are going to throw a fit and carry out these kinds of actions about wearing a mask for a few minutes in a store, maybe it's time for you to reevaluate your temper and your composure in a public setting.
