Duo to Perform in UW Faculty Recital Wednesday

The University of Wyoming Department of Music spring Faculty Recital Series continues with “Cornerstones, Part Deux’s” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the Fine Arts concert hall. The program is free and open to the public.

Soprano Maureen Boddicker and Scott Meredith, trumpet, staged their first "Cornerstones" concert last spring, performing standard works for voice and trumpet from the 17th and 18th centuries. Their latest musical partnership continues with a program combining staple pieces by Johann S. Bach and George F. Handel with an African-American spiritual, and also contemporary pieces from living composers.

Middle Ground will perform the next Faculty Recital Series program Sunday, March 10, at 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts concert hall.
