Downtown Turkey Trot to Start Next Week

The Downtown Laramie Business Association will be hosting the first annual Turkey Trot starting November 2, 2015. The event will run through December 4, ultimately culminating in a drawing for 2 $500 gift certificates for downtown businesses.

The Turkey Trot is a revamped version of the event formerly known as the Mistletoe Mosey. From November 2-December 4, downtown shoppers will receive a button with a unique number from any of the 32 downtown businesses participating, along with a complete list of participating businesses.

Button holders will then look for their number in the participating businesses. If they find the number, they will receive a gift from the business valued at $50 and will be entered in the $500 drawing that will take place on December 5.

The December 5 drawing is tentatively set to take place in the plaza next to Coal Creek Coffee, but in the event of bad weather, will be moved to a nearby business.
