Despite the recent police shootings in Dallas and Baton Rouge, Cheyenne Police don't plan to do anything differently during this year's Daddy of 'em All.

"Since we've been doing it for so many years, it's almost business as usual as far as what we have to do," said Officer Dan Long.

Extra officers will, once again, be patrolling Frontier Park as well as off-the-park events, but Long says the department's game plan will stay the same.

"Of course there's going to be that extra vigilance," said Long. "But really we've got a system that's been developed over the last few years and I think we're just going to keep at it."

Cheyenne Frontier Days, which attracts visitors from all over the globe, drew a total of 606,194 attendees last year.
