While the DC universe is having a rough morning with those newly unveiled Justice League reviews (at least according to our take on the movie), it’s a great day to be a Marvel / X-Men fan. 20th Century Fox dropped the new teaser for Deadpool 2, and it’s as artistic as can be. No really, the Merc With a Mouth is an artist now. He’s actually Bob Ross, and he’s here to teach you how to paint trees.

Confused? No worries, it all goes back to the silly Deadpool 2 poster that parodied Norman Rockwell’s famous Thanksgiving painting. Turns out that lovely illustration was painted by Deadpool himself. But don’t worry, the new teaser isn’t just smooth jazz and painting tips, we do get a nice little glimpse of the film. It’s only about 10 seconds, but it’s packed with some wild car crashes, Julian Dennison in a blazing fire, Brianna Hildebrand’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead giving someone the bird, Deadpool popping out of a coffin, and a super quick look at Zazie Beetz’s Domino.

Oh, and how could I forget, there’s a very Deadpool synopsis:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 also stars Josh Brolin as Cable, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, and Eddie Marsan. The film hits theaters June 1, 2018. Don’t forget to pick up your copy of Deadpool’s Good Housekeeping this holiday season (no, for real).
