The Wyoming Cowboys snapped their four-game losing streak with a 64-52 victory over the Air Force Falcons Wednesday in Laramie.

The Cowboys knocked down 11 3-pointers, which was one off their season high.

Josh Adams had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pokes. Jeremy Lieberman scored a career-high 13 points, including four treys. Jason McManamen added 10 points.

Wyoming (8-8, 1-2) saw a 15-point lead disappear. With UW up 40-25 early in the second half, Air Force crafted a 16-2 run. Alexander Aka Gorski nailed a three followed by an Adams bucket that put the Cowboys ahead 47-41. UW stretched its lead with a 12-3 spurt that put them up by 11 with just under four minutes remaining.

The Cowboys enjoyed a 38-31 edge on the glass. They also scored 16 points off 11 Falcons turnovers.

Air Force (10-5, 1-1) was held to 37 percent shooting in the game. Trevor Lyons led the Falcons with 14 points.

In the first half Wyoming used an 18-2 run that built a 31-23 lead at halftime.

As for player reaction, Lieberman and McManamen were both happy with the team's performance in the win.

The Cowboys are back in action Saturday when they host the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels at 4 p.m.
