Class 3A/4A Girls Basketball 2021 State Tournament Scoreboard

A pair of teams will win state championships this week to conclude the high school girls’ basketball season in Wyoming.

It’s the Class 3A and 4A girls’ state basketball tournament in Casper.

The Ford Wyoming Center (FWC) [formerly the Casper Events Center], Casper College (CC), and Kelly Walsh High School (KWHS) are being used as host sites for the two-day tournaments.

Due to COVID protocols worked out before the season, the format is different this year. All tournaments will be 2-day events. Certain teams will play two games in one day.

4A GIRLS STATE TOURNAMENT BRACKET

FRIDAY, MARCH 12:

Final Score: Game 1 - (2W) Green River 59 (3E) Cheyenne Central 37 - first time the Wolves make the semifinals since 1998

Final Score: Game 2 - (1E) Cheyenne East 42 (4W) Star Valley 30

Final Score: Game 3 - (3W) Cody 59 (2E) Thunder Basin 56 - 1996 was the last time the Filles reached the semifinals

Final Score: Game 4 - (4E) Sheridan 53 (1W) Natrona County 51 - Broncs first semifinal appearance since 2016

Final Score: Game 5 - Cheyenne East 62 Green River 50 – semifinal - East makes its 4th consecutive title game

Final Score: Game 6 - Cody 54 Sheridan 33 – semifinal - first title appearance in program history for the Fillies!

SATURDAY, MARCH 13:

Final Score: Game 8 - Star Valley 39 Cheyenne Central 38 – Cheyenne Central is eliminated

Final Score: Game 9 - Thunder Basin 72 Natrona County 70 – Natrona County is eliminated

Final Score: Game 10 - Thunder Basin 41 Star Valley 23 – Consolation Trophy Game

Final Score: Game 12 - Sheridan 56 Green River 46 – 3rd Place Game - Lady Broncs place 3rd for the 9th time in school history; it's their first trophy since 2015  

Final Score: Game 7 - Cheyenne East 52 Cody 37 – Championship Game - 5th title in school history and first since 2017

Final Score: Game 10 - Wheatland 46 Newcastle 41 – Consolation Trophy Game - OT

Final Score: Game 12 - Worland 45 Lander 36 – 3rd Place Game

Final Score: Game 7 - Douglas 51 Lyman 11 – Championship Game - Bearcats win their 3rd consecutive title. Senior class finishes their career 100-2. 11th title in school history; finishes this season 24-0 and are on a 41-game win streak!
