Cheyenne Weatherman Predicts Average Fall, Possible Cold Winter
Cheyenne-based meteorologist Don Day. Jr, says he expects a fairly average fall in Wyoming.
Day goes on to say that early indications are that portions of the state east of the continental divide may have a colder-than-usual winter, while the areas west of the divide might have a milder winter season.
He also says, however, that it's still too early to project exactly what this winter will bring to the Cowboy State. Over the short-term, he says we can probably expect gradually cooling temperatures over the next few months, with the first freeze probably coming around the last week of September or so.
