Cheyenne Police Investigating Thursday One-Car Rollover

Cheyenne Police say the driver of a vehicle that careened off of Yellowstone Road and onto the Greenway path below escaped with only minor injuries.

The crash happened around 3:30m in the 5500 Block of Yellowstone Road. The CPD Facebook page described the accident in Olympian terms:

''At 1531 hours CPD officers were dispatched to a rollover crash. Upon arrival, it was found a Chevy Avalanched across oncoming traffic, halfpiped through a fence, did an ollie with a shifty twist narrowly missing a group of trees before flipping on its side and sticking the landing, coming to rest on the Greenway path. The driver had only minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation although nearby judges gave it a 9.2 out of 10.''
